Weighing 1.6 kg, it is both a functional musical instrument and a remarkable decorative piece.

The Dungchen is traditionally used in Tibetan Buddhist ceremonies, often played to accompany rituals and prayers, creating a deep, resonant sound that is believed to help connect the physical and spiritual realms. Its presence in Tibetan culture dates back centuries, signifying not just musical use but also serving as a call to gather practitioners for meditation and ceremony.

Crafted from copper, this horn is adorned with intricate designs, showcasing the artistic skills of its creators. The use of rich materials and detailed ornamentation reflects the importance of the Dungchen within Tibetan culture, where music and sound play a vital role in spiritual practice.
