This exquisite gild-bronze figure of Vasudhara originates from Nepal and dates back to around 1700. Standing at 19 cm tall and intricately crafted, it showcases the mastery of Nepali artisans in bronze work during the period. Vasudhara, often regarded as the goddess of abundance and prosperity in Buddhist traditions, is depicted in a seated position known as lalitasana, symbolizing comfort and stability.

The statue features six arms, each delicately radiating outward, holding significant items: flowing gems signifying wealth, a vase of amrita representing immortality, a harvest bundle illustrating prosperity, and a manuscript symbolizing knowledge. The use of fire gilding with 24-karat gold enhances its beauty, giving it a radiant appearance that reflects the spiritual significance of the goddess.

This piece was formerly owned by a Dutch private collector and was acquired in 2022, making it a unique addition to any collection.
