Crafted in the 19th century, this exquisite piece stands at 49.5 cm tall and is made of wood, adorned with 24-karat gold plating, reflecting the historical significance and devotion embedded in its creation.

The statue is presented in the Bhumisparsha mudra, a gesture that signifies the moment of the Buddha's enlightenment. This mudra symbolizes the calling of the Earth to witness his enlightenment, thus embodying the persistent themes of truth and enlightenment within Buddhist philosophy.

The craftsmanship showcases the unique artistic styles of Burmese sculpture, which often emphasizes intricate patterns and serene expressions. The lotus pedestal on which the Buddha sits not only denotes purity and spiritual awakening but also enhances the overall aesthetic appeal of the piece.
