The statue, measuring 13.1 cm in width and 13 cm in depth, weighs 6.32 kg and highlights the intricate details typical of Thai artistry.

The Rattanakosin era, beginning in 1782, marked a significant cultural renaissance in Thailand, influenced by both local and Indian artistic traditions. This period is characterized by refined craftsmanship and the integration of royal and religious themes in art. The depiction of the Buddha often symbolizes a quest for enlightenment, with a focus on serenity and spiritual ascendance, reflective of the ideologies prevalent during this time.

This particular statue's graceful posture emphasizes the Abhaya mudra, a gesture of fearlessness and protection, embodying peace and reassurance. This style is significant in Buddhist tradition, serving as a reminder of the Buddha's teachings on compassion and non-violence.

This artifact not only represents the artistic heights achieved in Thailand but also serves as a cultural bridge, connecting the past to the present, and continues to inspire reverence and admiration for Buddhist heritage around the globe.
