This Antique Japanese Bishamon statue stands at a height of 77 cm and dates back to the Muromachi to Early Edo period, specifically between 1480 and 1680 AD, as verified by a C14 test. Bishamon, known as the protector of Buddhism, is depicted here in a dynamic pose, with one foot resting on a rock and his right hand raised. His left hand clutches a trident, emphasizing his role as a fierce guardian.

On request, we can add insurance if wished. Please note that when a shipment gets lost or damaged, the item will not be refunded when there was no insurance added !
