Crafted from high-quality Burmese marble, this piece encapsulates the intricate artistry of the Mandalay style, noted for its lifelike representation and serene expression.

The statue features remnants of original 24-karat gilding, which not only highlights its historical significance but also demonstrates the meticulous craftsmanship of the era. Statues of this size and quality are remarkably rare, making this particular Buddha a unique addition to any collection.

In Buddhist iconography, the Mandalay style is characterized by its elegant forms and detailed adornments, aiming to convey tranquility and enlightenment.
