Standing at 13.8 cm tall and gilded with 24-karat gold, the statue showcases exquisite craftsmanship and embodies the spiritual significance revered in Buddhist traditions.

The statue features intricate Burmese inscriptions on its backside, suggesting a narrative or dedication that likely honors the teachings of the Buddha. This connection to the spiritual text enhances both the historical and cultural context of the artifact, making it not just a decorative piece but also a meaningful object of devotion.

The Bhumisparsha mudra, depicted in this statue, symbolizes the moment of enlightenment when the Buddha called the Earth as his witness during his meditation, representing a profound connection between spirituality and the earthly realm.

Originating from Burma, which has a long history of Buddhist influence, this statue serves as a testament to the enduring practices and beliefs of the region’s people.
