Crafted from wood and elegantly gilded with 24-karat gold, this piece embodies the spiritual essence and intricate craftsmanship characteristic of the Mandalay style.

Dating back to the 19th century, this statue represents a significant period in Burmese art history, where intricate details and expressive forms were highly valued. The statue's serene expression and careful attention to detail reflect the spiritual mindfulness that is central to Buddhist philosophy.

The statue is adorned with a prominent display, typical of the Dharmachakra mudra, symbolizing the "turning of the wheel of Dharma," which refers to the teachings of the Buddha. This gesture signifies the dissemination of wisdom and the importance of spiritual guidance.
