This rare 11th-century bronze Bagan Buddha is a remarkable artifact from Burma (Myanmar), embodying the rich cultural and religious heritage of the early Bagan period. Standing at 19.2 cm and featuring a silvery sheen due to the silver content in the bronze alloy, this intricately crafted statue draws attention not only for its beauty but also for its historical significance.

The Bagan period, flourishing from the 11th to the 13th centuries, was marked by an explosion of Buddhist art and architecture. This statue features old Burmese inscriptions on the back of the pedestal, adding to its authenticity and historical value.
