The intricate craftsmanship is highlighted by the presence of eight mythological figures, representing each day of the week, as recognized in Burmese culture where a week spans eight days.

The statue's Bhumisparsha mudra symbolizes the moment of enlightenment, where the Buddha calls the Earth to witness his attainment of awareness. This gesture reflects the profound journey towards spiritual awakening and stability.

Burma has a rich artistic heritage, deeply influenced by its Buddhist traditions. The limestone used in this statue reflects the region's natural resources and the skilled artisans who shaped them into sacred symbols. The rich iconography, combined with the quality of the materials, makes this piece a significant representation of Burmese spirituality and artistry.

With dimensions of 26.4 cm in width and 10 cm in depth, and weighing 4.09 kg, this statue not only serves as a decorative artwork but also as a testament to the cultural and spiritual history of the region it hails from.
