Historically, Nepal has been a center for Buddhist art, influenced by both Hindu and Buddhist traditions. The Middle 20th century marks a period of artistic revival, wherein artisans revived ancient techniques and styles to create works that resonate with spirituality and cultural depth. This statue reflects that legacy, embodying the serene expression commonly associated with Buddhist iconography, which promotes peace and enlightenment.

The finely detailed crown and the delicate facial features serve not only as decorative elements but also represent the divine qualities of wisdom and compassion, essential in Buddhist philosophy. The usage of bronze reflects the durability and timelessness of the teachings associated with these figures. Weighing 8.95 kg and measuring 37 cm wide and 19.5 cm deep, this high-quality statue is not just an artistic piece but also a heartfelt expression of spiritual devotion, making it a significant addition to any collection.
