Antique Japanese Zushi Shrine

- Dating from 1912
- Inside gold lacquered with a green wooden mountain with a waterfall decorated with twelve small plain boxwood Buddhist and Shinto-figures.
- Bottom signed: made by the Buddha-carver Asako Shukei, (the go-name of Atsuko Mikoshiten in Kyoto of a line of mikoshi-makers, active since the end of the Muromachi Period till 2007) and dated: Meiji 44 (1912).
