Originating from Burma (Myanmar) and dating back to the 17th century, this piece represents the rich cultural and artistic heritage of the region. The Shan style, also referred to as Tai Yai, is distinguished by its graceful proportions and serene expressions, which are characteristic of the Buddhist art from northern Myanmar.

The statue is a rare find, especially given its size and quality, making it a coveted piece for collectors and enthusiasts alike. Its intricately designed features reflect the period's craftsmanship, blending spirituality with artistry.
